The mission of the Parents’ Association is to support our wonderful teachers and staff, raise funds for the needs of our school, and foster a sense of community among our school families. Over the past several years, the Parents’ Association has donated over $275,000 to the school. This money has helped fund physical improvements to school facilities, such as remodeling the Big Kid playground and building the Infant/Todddler playground. The money has also addressed classroom needs, including iPads, science learning kits, and PE equipment.
In order to raise these funds, we have a number of events throughout the year. In October, we have our Dads’ Night – an evening for kids to bring their dads up to school for pizza and fun. Later that month, we have our Fall Fundraiser. During this event, you can purchase Niven Morgan candles and other gifts at a discount, and the funds benefit the school. In January, we have our Auction – a fun evening out for parents – and one of the highlights of the year for us. We wrap up the school year with our Spring Carnival, which is always a hit with the kids.
We recognize that none of these events would be possible without all the incredible parents we have at our school. There are so many ways to get involved, and we hope that you will consider joining one of our committees.
